Fleshier blackcurrant and blackberry characters, with layers of fresh mint, fennel, artichoke, Dutch salted liquorice and charred brisket. It is silky, supple, with fine acidity and well-integrated tobacco leaf French oak notes. It's all about the microclimates, baby. From carefully selected single-vineyard sites in Gippsland, vigneron Mark Heath and winemaker Marcus Satchell (of Dirty Three fame) produce small-batch wines bursting with flavor.
