Hartshorn Distillery Pure Gin Sheep Whey 500ml

Hartshorn Distilleries, in their endeavor to craft a distinctive gin, aimed to utilize exclusively Tasmanian botanicals alongside juniper. This initiative led to the discovery of remarkable leaves, native berries, and seeds, but the limited availability due to wild harvesting precluded sustained production. Consequently, the selection expanded to incorporate broader Australian native botanicals. Notably, three botanicals in this gin have not been previously used by the distillery.

The botanicals undergo vapor infusion—a less common technique in Australian gin production—yielding a more delicate and subtle aromatic profile compared to steeping. The gin features nuanced petal and citrus scents with a touch of freshly cut hay.

Each bottle is hand-painted and inscribed with the signature of Master Distiller Ryan Hartshorn.
