Siete Leguas Tequila Reposado 700ml

Over six decades ago, the quintessence of authentic tequila was brought to life. Siete Leguas embodies unmatched artisanal craftsmanship, evident from the expertise of the jimadors in the agave fields to the traditional tahona wheel and natural open fermentation tanks. Located in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco, Mexico, Siete Leguas drew inspiration from the revolutionary figure Pancho Villa and his legendary horse, which traversed "7 Leguas" or 21 miles. Among Villa's many admirers was Don Ignacio Gonzalez Vargas, who, in homage, named his tequila after the famed horse. Presently, the Gonzalez de Anda family, comprised of seven members, diligently upholds Don Ignacio Gonzalez Vargas’ legacy, adhering to traditional tequila production methods. Siete Leguas remains one of the oldest Mexican distilleries, steadfastly family-owned and operated.
