Aberfeldy 12 Year Old Single Malt 700ml

Aberfeldy is a small and underappreciated highland distillery that produces the heart of the excellent 'Dewar's White Label' blend and their 'Aberfeldy 12-Year-Old Single Malt' is everything you would expect a highland whisky to be and more. With three gold medals and three silvers to its credit between 2007 and 2012 it is an excellent spirit with a clean and fruity flavour built on a refined malt backbone that delivers a medium finish featuring spiced honey and woody notes. Best served neat to truly experience its full character but a splash of water does release a slightly floral and flat cola tone.
