Fuji Single Malt Japanese Whisky 700ml

Mt. Fuji Distillery was established and commissioned in 1973, while most other Japanese distilleries followed the whisky product ion method of Scotland, Fuji took influence from major whisky countries all around the world. The Distillery has a unique location being situated 2034ft above sea level, temperature and altitude play a significant role in the final product showcasing unique flavours of a single grain whiskey.

Fuji distillery uses highly purified water direct from Mt. Fuji that is used across the entire production process. It is said to be a 50 year process from Mountain to Distillery going through natural purification along the way resulting in crystal clear, pure and clean water.

Fuji Gotemba's and Jota Tanka like to challenge the way people think about classic styles of Whisky and their Single Malt does just that. This release takes inspiration from traditional scotch single malt and gives it a contemporary Japanese influence using A combination of ex-Bourbon, beer-aged and red wine casks plus, Jota-san’s masterful combination result in Fuji’s signature stamp of layered complexity and a clean and estery taste.

Meticulous Japanese craftsmanship shines through layers of red berries, preserved peaches and crisp apples.

AROMAS - Fruity aroma of ripe apples and sweet aroma of creme brûlée.

FLAVORS - Rich with mellow and velvety texture, luscious aroma of ripe white peaches and fruit tart.

FINISH - Sweet, complex and well-matured flavor with a pleasantly long finish.

BARRELS - American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels, beer-aged barrels and French oak red wine barrels. NON CHILL FILTERED
