Neisson Profil 107 Agricole Rhum 700ml

This Rhum undergoes a maturation process of 14 months in 190-litre used American Oak barrels, followed by a finishing phase in 225-litre heavily charred casks. The sugar cane is sourced from Neisson's proprietary forty-hectare farm in La Carbet, which benefits from the town's mineral-rich soils, courtesy of its proximity to Mount Pelée, as well as high sunlight exposure and optimal variations in rainfall and temperature. The freshly extracted sugar cane juice is subjected to a 72-hour fermentation period—one of the longest in the French Indies—utilising natural yeasts, and is bottled at 52.8%.

Nose: Evocative notes of toasty oak and coconut, complemented by soft grassiness and fresh sugar cane.

Palate: A pronounced oak character interwoven with spice, subtle hints of peppermint, citrus, and cane juice.

Finish: Persistent oak tannins and spice, with undertones of soft oak char, maritime nuances, and a gentle herbaceous note.
