Teremana epitomizes highland tequila, known for its bright and fruity profile, contrasting with the more earthy and savory character of lowland tequila. Tequila is primarily categorized into three styles: blanco, which is un-aged; reposado, aged up to three months in American oak barrels previously used for whiskey; and añejo, aged for up to one year in the same type of barrels. The Reposado variant stands out with its inviting aromatics and well-balanced flavors. Its nose reveals notes of toffee layered over herbal and hay undertones, clover, honey, jasmine, and salted caramel. On the palate, it presents lifted lemon pith and grapefruit zest, complemented by dark chocolate and agave grassiness. The finish is characterized by butterscotch, tannic oak, and roasted agave.
